$ about
Founder, engineer, and patient about the right things.
I build software because building is the most honest form of thinking I've found. Most of what I work on starts as a small irritation with how a tool fails real people.
The short version
I'm a founder and software engineer based in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. I currently spend my time building Matcha — an AI color analysis app for fashion — and Sellah, a lightweight storefront for WhatsApp sellers.
Across both, I work full-stack: native iOS and Android in Swift and Kotlin, TypeScript on the web, Supabase and edge functions for backend, and a lot of time spent on the unsexy middle — performance, security, and the kind of UI work that earns trust on the first screen.
What I care about
I'm drawn to overlooked problems. The interesting work isn't where the market is already loud — it's in the places where the existing tools politely shrug. Color analysis for everyday people. Storefronts for sellers whose business already lives in a chat thread.
I care about taste as a discipline, not a decoration. About small products that do one true thing well. About moving forward — leaving each user slightly more capable than they were the day before.
How I work
Quietly, mostly. I prefer a long focused day to a busy week. I write specs before I write code, and I write code before I write a roadmap. I'd rather ship a small true product than a large half-built one.
I learn by building, breaking, and trying to explain it back to myself in plain language. That's most of what the writing page exists for.
The goal isn't to be everywhere. The goal is to leave a small, honest dent in the parts of the world the default tools forget.
